I’m Jonathan Vinke. I live in Jacksonville, Florida with my wife and two wonderful kids and work as a worship pastor/leader/teacher.
I’m originally from St. Louis, MO but I spent most of my early life in Georgia.
I learned guitar when I was 14 years old and the only thing I ever wanted to use music for was to lead people in worship. I have a passion to lead and teach others the true meaning of a life lived to worship God, and it gives me great joy to see other people grow in this knowledge and understanding.
We moved to Jacksonville in 2014 to pursue God’s call on our lives. I have a Master’s Degree from the Robert E. Webber Institute for Worship Studies, and am an avid reader of anything on worship or leadership. I serve as a worship leader as part of a beautiful, Christ-exalting, gospel centered movement called the Church of Eleven22. Check out our resources at http://www.coe22.com.
I love to explore, to dig deep, and to write my thoughts down. Some posts you will find here are musings, some are rants, most aren’t more than my opinion. Please be free to comment, reply, follow me on Twitter, and join the conversation.
